A Thank you...

SYAC wishes to thank everyone for their valuable help in making our 25th anniversary celebrations such a success.

A special mention must be made to all the guest speakers David Campbell, Cllr. Abtisam Mohammed, Richard Wright, Cllr. Jack Scott and Paul Blomfield MP.

Our licensees for their very generous donation towards Harry’s garden display including the painting of our building and gates.

We would like to thank Shaun Parker, one of our long standing Licensees for all his help with the decorations and ensuring the marquee was safe. He also spoke kindly in support of us on Sheffield Live Radio.

We are grateful to The Sheffield Chamber of Commerce who worked alongside us throughout the whole process and publicised our event. Praise also goes to our sponsors, the Jamaica National Bank, First for Business and Sheffield Town Trust.

We would also like to thank David & Ronald from GYR Joiners for all their hard work in upgrading the SYAC kitchen area. Also a special mention for our longstanding volunteer Joycelyn Moecombe for her  superb job in making the marquee look so wonderful on conference day, handcrafted bunting and our anniversary banner.

None deserved more praise than our loyal and reliable volunteer, John Wiseman who has worked tirelessly for SYAC in helping us prepare for the Conference throughout the building.

Last but not least I must thank all members of staff, volunteers and my colleagues from SADACCA and Caribbean Sports Club for all they have done in planning Black History Month and the 25th Anniversary Event.
